| SUMMER DAY OR SUMMER'S DAY
I was writing a definition and example sentence for a children's dictionary earlier and wasn't sure whether to write "it was a boiling hot summer day" or "it was a boiling hot summer's day". There are far more hits for 'summer's day' on the web, but the results are heavily skewed by the line in Shakespeare's sonnet "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day ...".
